Board Settings and Customization
Edit your pipeline structure, stage criteria, and phase colors
Before You Begin
After the AI builds your pipeline, you can customize every aspect of it in the Board Settings page — called the "Growth Engine Roadmap." Access it from the board settings icon on your Kanban board, or navigate to Sales > Customer Journey > Board Settings.
The page has two panels: the Growth Engine Roadmap on the left (a vertical list of all stages grouped by phase) and the Phase Settings panel on the right (details for the selected stage).
Steps
View the pipeline structure
The left panel shows all stages as cards, color-coded by phase (FIND=yellow, WIN=green, KEEP=blue, GROW=pink). Each card shows the stage name and phase assignment. An alert at the top shows the AI’s reasoning for the structure it built.
The phase color swatches at the top let you see and customize the color scheme. Below the stages, a Reorder Stages button allows you to drag stages into a different sequence.
Edit a stage
Click any stage card to open its details in the Phase Settings panel on the right. You can edit:
- Stage Name — What the stage is called in the pipeline and Kanban board
- Description — What this stage represents in the journey
- Entry Criteria — What must happen before a contact enters
- Exit Criteria — What must happen before a contact moves on
- Fulfillment — Which modules are involved at this stage (proposals, invoices, contracts, forms, payments, calendar bookings, onboarding, subscriptions, etc.)
Changes are saved when you click away or use the save function. They take effect immediately — SI and automation read the current criteria on every processing pass.
Reorder stages
Click Reorder Stages to enter reorder mode. Drag stages up or down within their phase, or between phases. The display order determines the left-to-right sequence on the Kanban board.
Stages within FIND always appear before WIN, WIN before KEEP, and KEEP before GROW. Within a phase, you control the sequence.
Customize phase colors
Click any phase color swatch (FIND, WIN, KEEP, GROW) to open a color picker. Change the background, border, and text colors for that phase. Colors propagate to the Kanban board, the SI Command Center pipeline view, and all stage-related UI elements.
Configure stage actions
Within each stage’s settings, you can add entry and exit actions — automated tasks that fire when contacts move into or out of the stage. See the Stage Actions and Automation article for the full action registry and configuration details.
Add or remove stages
To add a stage, use the add stage option in the Phase Settings panel. Choose the phase, name the stage, and define its criteria.
To remove a stage, delete it from the settings. Contacts currently in that stage will need to be reassigned to another stage. Removing a stage is permanent — consider archiving (renaming and keeping empty) rather than deleting if you want to preserve the history.
Result
Your pipeline structure is customized to match your business process. All changes are reflected immediately in the Kanban board, the SI Command Center, and SI’s processing logic. Contacts continue flowing through the pipeline based on the updated criteria.
