What It Is
A registrant never sees Zyntro. They see a handful of public pages, each styled to match your brand, that take them from signing up to watching and out the other side.
Which pages they pass through depends entirely on the webinar type, and the differences are worth knowing before you write a confirmation email.
Why It Matters
Most confusion about webinars is really confusion about which page someone landed on.
An evergreen registrant who expected to wait is surprised to be watching immediately. A live registrant who expected to watch in their browser is surprised to be in Google Meet. Both are working correctly — but you need to know which is which to explain it, and to send the right link.
How It Works
Everyone starts on the registration page and lands on a thank-you page that offers to add the session to their calendar.
An evergreen registrant goes straight to the video. There is no waiting room — the waiting room sends them onward immediately, because there is nothing to wait for.
A Just-in-Time registrant waits in a countdown until their chosen slot, then the page moves them into the session by itself. If they arrive after it has finished, they are offered the replay instead.
A live registrant is taken to Google Meet. Their attendance is recorded on the way through, which is why the registration link matters so much more than the meeting link.
Afterwards, anyone arriving at a finished webinar sees an ended page offering the replay where one exists, and can be sent to a feedback page to leave a rating and a comment.
Examples
A Just-in-Time registrant picks the 2:15 slot at 2:04
They register, see the thank-you page, then sit on a countdown. At 2:15 the page moves them into the session without them doing anything.
The same person arrives at 2:19 instead
They are dropped into the session at roughly the point it would have reached — four minutes in — rather than at the beginning.
Someone opens an evergreen link at 3am
They watch. No countdown, no waiting room, no start time.
