Prerequisites
- What Happens When Someone Submits a Form — Why a completion exists first
Find and Read Form Completions
Every submission a form has ever received
A completion is one stored submission. It holds the answers, the contact the submission produced, any booking that was made, and — where a webhook was configured — what the receiving system said back.
Completions are the record of truth for a form. If you need to know what somebody actually answered, or whether a submission went through at all, this is where you look. They are stored whether or not the follow-up actions worked, so a completion exists even when something downstream failed.
Before You Begin
- A form that has received at least one submission
- Access to the form in My Forms — anyone in your organisation can read its completions
Info: Completions are visible to everyone in your organisation, not only to whoever built the form. Anybody who can see the form in My Forms can open its submissions, so the person a lead is assigned to can read what was answered. Following the link in an alert opens that specific submission directly.
Steps
Open the completions for a form
Go to Sales → CRM → Forms. There are two ways in from here.
Click the completions count on the form's row — the number shown against that form.
Or open the form's row menu and choose View Completions.
Alerts about submissions also link here.
Read the list
The heading shows the form's name and the total number of completions.
The table gives you one row per submission, newest first, with the contact's name, their email, the date and time it arrived, and a status badge.
That is enough to answer the two most common questions — did it come in, and when.
Open an individual submission
Use the action on a row to open the full detail.
This shows the submitted answers against your field labels, so you are reading What is your budget? rather than an internal field name. Anything the person filled in appears here, including answers on fields you chose not to map to the CRM.
Check the status
The badge tells you how far the submission got. Success means it completed and the actions ran. Anything else means something interrupted it — see the statuses reference for what each one means.
Follow through to the contact
For anything you intend to act on, work from the contact record rather than the completion. The contact has the mapped answers, the profile context Zyntro built from the submission, any notes, the communication history and the booking.
The completion is the raw record; the contact is the working view.
Tip: When a colleague says a form "isn't working", check the completions list first. If completions are arriving, the form is fine and the problem is downstream — a notification, an email, or a mapping. If nothing is arriving, the problem is the form itself.
Result
You can see every submission a form has received and read exactly what each person answered.
If the list is empty on a form you believe is live, submit it yourself once. A form that cannot be submitted — most often because a required field is hidden by conditional logic — produces no completions at all.
