Resource Types

What each type is for, and where it can go.

The Resource Type dropdown offers eight types. The type decides which fields you fill in, how the resource is stored, and — importantly — whether it can be delivered to a contact at all.

Five of the eight can be sent in a message. The other three are for pages: they render inside deal pages and websites, where there is a browser to display them. An email client cannot run an embed or a block of code, so Zyntro never tries.

The eight types

Type What it is Can be sent in a message
Graphic An image, chosen from your media library or generated on the spot. Yes
Video A video from your video library. Only videos marked Ready appear. Yes
Attachment A document — a PDF, a spreadsheet, a proposal. Also the type that can be marked as a strategy document. Yes
Link A URL, with an optional heading and some rich text to introduce it. Yes
Text Block Approved prose, used word for word wherever it is included. Yes
Embed Something that loads inside a frame — a calculator, a map, a booking widget. No — pages only
Code Block HTML, CSS or JavaScript, either rendered or shown as source. No — pages only
Rich Block A structured visual component built in its own editor. Opens the Rich Block Editor. No — pages only

Fields by type

Graphic Browse or generate optional

No URL box. Either Browse Media Library to pick an existing image, or Generate with AI to make a new one. The chosen image previews before you save.

Video Picker optional

A thumbnail grid of your library. Only videos whose status is Ready can be chosen; anything still processing is absent.

Attachment File browser optional

Browse Files shows documents only — PDFs, spreadsheets and the like. Images and video are excluded here because they belong to the Graphic and Video types.

Link URL + heading + rich text optional

The URL is required. Link Heading and Link Text are optional and give the link something to say for itself.

Embed URL + height + styles optional

Display Height defaults to 400px. Custom inline styles are optional and applied to the frame.

Code Block Code + language + mode optional

Language is HTML, CSS or JavaScript. Display Mode decides whether the page runs the code or shows it.

Text Block Rich text + format optional

The content is used verbatim, so write it as you want it to appear. Format is HTML or plain text.

Rich Block Separate editor optional

Choosing this type takes you to the Rich Block Editor, which has live preview and structured fields. You do not fill it in from the drawer.

Warning: A Text Block is reproduced word for word. That is its purpose — it is how you give the AI language it is not allowed to paraphrase, such as a compliance line or a guarantee. Proofread it as carefully as anything you would sign.
