How a Webinar Feeds Follow-Up
The webinar does not end when the session does.
What It Is
Everything a webinar records about a person becomes part of what Zyntro knows about them. It is not a separate report you have to go and read.
Two patterns are actively watched for: people who registered and never appeared, and people who arrived and left early.
Why It Matters
Those two groups are where the opportunity is, and they are the two most likely to be ignored.
A no-show is not disinterest — it is usually a diary clash, and they registered, which is more than most of your list did. An early drop-off is more specific still: something lost them at a particular point, and both the fact and the point are recorded.
Because these are noticed automatically rather than waiting for you to run a report, the follow-up can happen while the webinar is still fresh.
How It Works
A background check runs regularly through the day and looks for the two patterns: registrants who never joined, and attendees who left before watching a meaningful portion. Each one it finds becomes a signal against that contact.
From there it behaves like any other signal: Segmentation Intelligence can act on it, and the contact's engagement picture reflects it.
Separately, the attendees who did watch are each given their own follow-up when the webinar's processing runs, written from what they personally did.
Zyntro can also offer a webinar to a contact in the course of a conversation — upcoming live sessions, evergreen webinars and Just-in-Time ones are all available to be suggested where one fits what the contact is asking about.
Examples
A registrant no-shows a live webinar
Noticed within the hour. The natural follow-up is the replay link — they were interested enough to register.
An attendee leaves eight minutes in
Recorded as an early drop-off. Sending them the same "thanks for attending" email as someone who stayed to the end is the mistake this is designed to prevent.
A contact asks a question a webinar answers
The webinar can be offered to them directly, with the right type and the right session.
Info: This is the main argument for finalising attendance properly. The difference between "attended" and "watched 12%" is what makes the follow-up sensible, and that difference only exists once watch times have been pulled in.
