What Processing Produces

Per attendee, not per webinar.

What It Is

Execute Processing is the final step on the console. It takes everyone who attended and produces their follow-up — a personalised email, an engagement report and an activity record for each of them.

It is per attendee, not per webinar. Twenty attendees means twenty pieces of work.

Why It Matters

It is the difference between a webinar that ends and a webinar that leads somewhere.

Each attendee's follow-up is written from what they did — how much they watched, which polls they answered, whether they looked at the offer. Somebody who watched ten minutes and left should not receive the same email as somebody who stayed to the end and clicked the offer, and this is the step that makes sure they do not.

How It Works

Processing is queued rather than done on the spot, which is why the console does not sit and wait. Each attendee becomes a piece of work that runs in the background, so a large webinar takes a little while to finish and nothing times out.

It runs on its own when the conference ends. The button is there for the times when you want to trigger it yourself, and it is safe to press more than once — the work already done is recognised and not repeated.

Only people who actually attended are processed. Registrants who never turned up are not followed up by this step, which is why no-shows are a separate job.

Examples

Scenario
An attendee who stayed to the end and clicked the offer

Their follow-up reflects a warm, engaged attendee. The activity record shows the offer interaction, so the next conversation can start from it.

Scenario
An attendee who left a third of the way through

Recorded as partial, with how far they got. The follow-up is written for somebody who was interested enough to come and lost somewhere specific.

Scenario
A registrant who never appeared

Not touched by this step. Reaching them is a replay email, not a follow-up about a session they did not see.

Info: Because the follow-up is written from each attendee's own behaviour, finalising attendance before processing matters. Run them in that order and every follow-up is informed by a real watch time.
