Deleting a Webinar
Deleting takes the attendance with it.
The bin icon on My Webinars deletes a webinar, after a confirmation that says it cannot be undone. It means it.
Steps
Consider archiving instead
An archived webinar is out of the way but intact — the registrations, the attendance, the poll answers and the conversions all remain. For anything that has actually run, this is almost always what you want.
End it first if it is running
A webinar that is Live Now cannot be deleted. The product refuses with Cannot delete a live webinar. End it first.
Delete, and understand the scope
Deleting removes the webinar and the records attached to it, including who registered and who attended.
Result
The webinar is gone from the list. Contacts created by registrations are not deleted — they are your contacts, and they remain — but the record of what they did at this particular webinar goes with it.
Warning: If a webinar has any attendance at all, that attendance is engagement evidence about real people. Archive it rather than deleting it, unless you are clearing up something that never ran.
