Managing Active Subscriptions

Pause, cancel, upgrade, and monitor subscriptions

Before You Begin

Once a subscription is active, you can manage its full lifecycle — pause it temporarily, cancel it, upgrade or downgrade the plan, and review payment history. The dunning system handles failed payments automatically.

Steps

View all subscriptions

Open Edge → Subscriptions to see a list of all subscription plans and their subscribers with current statuses.

Filter and search

Use the search bar or status filters (Active, Paused, Canceled) to find specific subscriptions.

Pause a subscription

Click on a subscription and select Pause. The subscriber is not charged while paused. The subscription can be resumed at any time.

Resume a paused subscription

Click Resume on a paused subscription. Billing restarts from the next cycle date.

Cancel a subscription

Choose Cancel Immediately to stop the subscription now, or Cancel at End of Period to let the current cycle complete before canceling.

Upgrade or downgrade

Switch a subscriber to a different plan. Proration adjusts the charge so the subscriber only pays the difference for the remainder of the current cycle.

View payment history

Open the subscription detail to see a full history of charges, including successful payments, failed attempts, and retries.

Check next billing date

The subscription detail shows the Next Billing Date — the date of the next automatic charge.

Result

You can manage any subscription's lifecycle from the subscriptions list. Changes take effect immediately or at end of period depending on the action chosen.

Warning: When a payment fails, the dunning system auto-retries on a schedule. After all retries are exhausted, a grace period applies. If the payment still fails after the grace period, the subscription is automatically canceled.
