The Entity Page
One organisation, in three cards.
Open an entity from the Entities list, from the link on a contact, or from a merge preview. The page has a header, then three cards: the standard fields, the custom fields, and the contacts linked to it.
Both field cards have their own Edit button, so you change the organisation here rather than through any one contact.
Standard fields
Entity Name
Text
required
The organisation's name. This is the only field duplicate detection looks at, so consistent naming matters more here than anywhere else in the CRM.
Entity Type
From a configurable list
optional
What kind of organisation it is — Company, Organization, Brokerage, Consultancy, Nonprofit, Partner and whatever else you have configured. It is shown under the name on the Entities list.
Status
From a configurable list
required
Where the organisation stands: Active, Inactive, Won, Lost, Awaiting Decision, Outbid, and whatever else you configure. Only Active shows green on the list.
Location
Text
optional
Where the organisation is, with address autocomplete when you enter it.
Website
URL
optional
The organisation's website.
Tags
A list
optional
Free-form tags for filtering and segmentation. Separate from contact tags.
Socials
Links
optional
Social profile links for the organisation.
Entity Score
A number
optional
A number you set yourself, through an import or the API. Zyntro does not calculate it — unlike contact engagement scores, which are worked out for you. If it reads zero, nothing has set it.
Info: Entity Type and Status are lists you configure, not fixed options. They are maintained with the rest of your CRM settings, so the choices on this page are the ones your organisation decided on.
The three cards
| Card | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Entity Details | The standard fields above, with an Edit button. |
| Custom Fields | Your own entity-level fields, with their own Edit button. These are separate from contact custom fields — they describe the organisation, not a person. |
| Contacts | Everyone linked to this organisation. Reads No contacts are associated with this entity when there are none. |
Tip: Entity custom fields are the ones worth filling in. Things that are true of the whole organisation — headcount, industry, the systems they run, their renewal month — belong here rather than copied onto each contact. Everything Zyntro writes to anyone at that company can then draw on them.
