Read the Meeting Transcript
What was actually said, in order.
Before You Begin
The summaries are there so you do not have to read the transcript. But sometimes you do — when a client says that is not what we agreed, when you need the exact wording of a commitment, or when the summary is clearly missing something you remember being said.
The transcript is on the meeting's screen, below the intelligence, laid out as a conversation rather than a wall of text.
Steps
Open the meeting and scroll to Transcript
From CRM → Meetings, click the meeting title. The Transcript card is in the left column, underneath the intelligence.
Its header shows the length of the conversation and how many speakers were separated out, which is the quickest way to see whether the transcript is complete.
Read it as a conversation
The transcript is laid out as an exchange, each speaker in their own colour with their initials beside their contributions. Your own are set apart from everyone else's, so a long transcript is still skimmable — you can see at a glance who was doing most of the talking.
Consecutive remarks from the same speaker are grouped together rather than split into separate lines.
Check the speaker count first
If the header says fewer speakers than were actually in the room, the transcript has run people together and attributions are not reliable.
This happens when the meeting's attendees were not recorded before processing: Zyntro works out how many voices to separate from the attendee count. A three-person meeting processed with no attendees listed is transcribed as though it were a two-person one.
If the speakers are wrong, fix it and re-process
Add the attendees to the meeting, then process the recording again. Zyntro re-separates the voices with the right number to look for.
For a recording Zyntro holds, Process it again in the mobile app re-runs it with no need for the original file. Re-processing is charged at the same rate as the original.
This is the single cheapest improvement available to transcript quality and it takes about a minute.
Use it to check the summary
If something you clearly remember is missing from the summary, search the transcript for it.
Two different answers follow. If it is in the transcript but not the summary, the summary is a two-to-three-sentence precis and simply left it out — the material is there. If it is not in the transcript either, the recording did not capture it, and nothing downstream will ever have it.
Result
You have the conversation in writing, with the speakers separated, and you know how much to trust the attributions.
The transcript stays with the meeting and does not expire. It is removed only if the meeting is deleted.
Info: Some transcripts are plain text rather than a conversation. A transcript you pasted in yourself, or one from a source that did not identify speakers, is shown as continuous text. All the intelligence still works from it — speaker separation improves attribution, not comprehension.
Tip: Use your browser's own find. There is no search inside the transcript card, so the quickest way through a long one is your browser's find function on the page.
