Typography, Icons and Backdrops

The rest of your site's look, editable long after setup.

Three smaller tabs, each doing one job, all editable long after setup.

Steps

Typography

Your four font roles — Bold, Semibold, Regular and Stylized — plus any custom role you added, each with its family and weight.

The tab also holds the type scale, line heights and letter spacing. These are the settings that decide whether a page is comfortable to read, and they are worth adjusting on real content rather than in the abstract: set them, then look at your longest page.

Your own registered fonts appear here alongside the library ones.

Iconography

The icon family for the whole site, changeable at any time.

Changing it swaps every icon across the site at once, which is the point — mixed icon families are one of the few things that reliably make a site look assembled rather than designed.

Backdrops

The background images available to sections. If you skipped this during setup, this is where to add them.

Add images that work with text on top: calm, with empty space. Uploaded images are analysed so they can be placed sensibly — light images behind dark text and the other way round.

Adding a backdrop makes it available to pages built from then on. It does not insert itself into pages that already exist.

Result

Type, icons and backdrops set the way you want them, applied site-wide.
