Prerequisites

Install Zyntro Mobile on Android

Scan once from your computer, then add Zyntro to your home screen in three taps

Before You Begin

There are two parts to this and neither takes long. You pair the phone by scanning a code from your computer, which signs you in without typing anything. Then you add Zyntro to your home screen so it opens on its own, full-screen, like any app you downloaded.

Chrome does most of the second part for you — it offers a proper Install button rather than making you hunt through a menu.

Steps

Open the Zyntro Mobile card on your computer

On the computer where you normally use Zyntro, go to Integrations and find the Mobile section at the top. Click the Zyntro Mobile card.

If your organisation is set up for insurance, this card is called Advisor+ Mobile instead. Everything below works the same way.

Pairing is per person, not per organisation. Each member of your team scans their own code, and the card only shows Paired for whoever is looking at it.

Scan the QR code with your phone

A panel opens with a QR code and the line "Scan this QR code with your phone camera to connect Zyntro Mobile."

Point your phone's camera at it — you do not need a separate QR app on either platform — and tap the notification that appears.

Your phone opens Zyntro already signed in. You will not be asked for your password on the phone, which is the main reason to pair this way rather than typing the address in by hand.

Two timings are worth knowing, and both are printed under the code: the QR code is valid for 30 days, and once you scan it your mobile session lasts 90 days.

If you would rather not scan, you can open app.zyntrohq.com in your phone's browser and sign in normally. You land on the same welcome screen and the rest of these steps are identical.

Land on the welcome screen

Your phone opens Zyntro and greets you by name. Underneath is a short summary of what you get — Full CRM Access, Email, SMS & Calls and Business Card Scanner — and a Get Started button.

Tap Get Started. This is the point where Zyntro works out which phone you are on and shows you the right install instructions.

Land on the welcome screen
You could tap Continue and start using Zyntro straight away in the browser. It works — but it opens with the address bar over it every time, and it will not appear on your home screen. The next two steps are worth the twenty seconds.

Tap Install Zyntro

The screen changes to Install Zyntro, explaining that adding it to your home screen gives you instant access, full-screen, and offline use.

Tap the orange Install Zyntro button.

You may also see a short numbered list describing the manual route — tap the ⋮ menu at the top-right of Chrome, choose Add to Home screen, then Install. That is the same outcome by a different path, and it is there for the cases where Chrome does not offer the button.

Tap Install Zyntro
Either route gets you to the same place. If the orange button is missing, use the ⋮ menu instead — some Chrome versions and some Android builds only offer the menu.

Confirm the install

Android asks for confirmation with an Install app dialog showing the Zyntro icon and app.zyntrohq.com.

Tap Install.

This is Android's own dialog, not Zyntro's, which is why it names the website — it is telling you exactly what is being added.

Confirm the install

Open it from your home screen

Zyntro now sits on your home screen and in your app drawer with its own orange icon, alongside everything else you have installed.

Tap it to open. It launches full-screen with no address bar, and you are still signed in — there is nothing further to set up.

The first time you open it after installing, Zyntro may ask which brand you want to work in if your organisation has more than one. Pick one and you go straight to the app.

Open it from your home screen

Result

Zyntro is installed on your Android phone and signed in for 90 days. The icon behaves like any other app — it appears in your app drawer, it can be moved onto a home screen page, and it opens full-screen.

Back on your computer, the Zyntro Mobile card under Integrations now shows a green Paired badge, and opening it shows when you paired, when the session expires and when the phone was last active.

Common questions

Not quite — it comes from your browser rather than the Play Store — but once installed it behaves the same way: its own icon, its own window, full screen, and it works offline. There is no Play Store listing to search for.

Your phone signs out and you pair it again from the same Zyntro Mobile card. The app stays on your home screen; you are only re-establishing the session.

Pairing connects one device at a time. Pairing a second phone disconnects the first — the panel warns you before it does.

Make sure the code is fully visible on your screen and try moving the phone a little further back. If the code is more than 30 days old it has expired: close the panel and open the Zyntro Mobile card again to generate a fresh one.

Open Zyntro in Chrome on your phone, tap the ⋮ menu and choose Add to Home screen. You do not need to pair again.

Yes. The installed app uses Chrome's engine underneath even though it looks and behaves like a separate app.
