Making a Testimonial Ready to Use

Every testimonial is created as a draft. That is deliberate — writing is quick, and you should read a testimonial before anything starts quoting your customer.

While it is a draft, nothing outside the testimonials screen can see it. Marking it ready is the single step that releases it to the rest of Zyntro.

Steps

Read it first

Open the testimonial and read what was written. Check the customer's name, job title and company under the quote, check any numbers, and check that the quote sounds like something your customer would actually say.

This is the moment to fix anything. Everything on the page is editable in place.

Go back to the testimonials list

Brand Intelligence > Testimonials. Each testimonial has a Ready to use column with a toggle, showing Draft or Ready.

Switch the toggle on

Click it. The label changes to Ready and it saves straight away — there is no separate save button, and a short confirmation appears at the top of the screen.

If the save fails, the toggle returns to where it was and tells you why, rather than looking successful while nothing changed.

Switch it back whenever you need to

The toggle works both ways. Turning it off returns the testimonial to draft and withdraws it from everywhere that was using it — useful if a customer asks you to stop quoting them, or if you spot a mistake after releasing it.

Result

The testimonial is now available to the rest of the platform: your website can display it, the intelligence that composes your emails and messages can draw on it, and the content tools can reference it by name.

What each state means

State Who can see it When you want it
Draft Only you, on the testimonials screen While you are still checking the writing, the attribution and the numbers
Ready Your website, your messaging, your content tools Once you are happy to have the customer quoted

Important: Marking a testimonial ready makes it available for use; it does not publish it anywhere on its own. Nothing appears on your website until a page is actually built to show testimonials, and nothing is sent to anyone until a message that draws on your proof goes out. Ready means permitted, not live.

Warning: Check the attribution before switching this on. The name, job title and company shown under the quote come from the contact record at the time the testimonial was written, so an out-of-date title will be quoted as-is. Getting a customer's job title wrong in public is a small mistake that is very visible to them.

Tip: There is a second rating control on the testimonial page, separate from the customer's stars. Use it to mark which of your ready testimonials you consider the strongest — it does not affect what the customer said, and it makes the good ones easy to find once you have a few dozen.
