Creating an Acquisition Stream
An acquisition stream is a standing instruction to find prospects. You describe who you want, how many per day, and the standard they have to meet — and the stream does the rest on a schedule.
Everything is on one screen, in the order the decisions depend on each other. You can save a draft at any point and come back to it; nothing is spent until the stream is activated.
Before You Begin
- At least one approved audience segment on your brand — a stream will not save without one
- Funds in your wallet, since a stream charges as it acquires
- An AI communicator to send the first-touch email as
- Optionally, a mandate or two giving context about your business
Steps
Open New Stream
Go to Lens > New Stream, or use the New Stream button from My Streams.
Leave the stream type as Acquisition
Acquisition Stream is selected by default and is the one that searches for new leads. The alternative, Feeder Stream, never searches — it exists to receive leads you move out of another stream's quarantine.
Name the stream and set its daily volume
Stream Name is required. Name it after who it targets — Toronto Insurance Brokers tells you more in a list than Stream 3.
Leads Per Day is a slider from 1 to 50, defaulting to 10. Start low. A day's leads tell you whether the targeting is right, and a low volume makes that a cheap lesson.
Choose a data quality tier
Basic, Standard or Premium decide how much is gathered about each lead. Standard is marked Recommended and suits most streams. The price on each card is the lead charge plus the qualification pass — the data charges are extra.
Model the outcome, if the cost matters
Projected Outcomes sits under the cost estimate. Enter your own deal value, meeting rate, close rate and sales cycle to see the funnel month by month. The defaults are placeholders, not benchmarks for your business.
Define the search criteria
Describe the companies and people you want: industry, company locations, size ranges, job titles, seniority, keywords and market segments. Show Advanced Filters adds technologies in use, revenue range, the person's own location, and named company domains.
Be specific. Tight criteria cost less, because fewer wrong people are revealed and enriched before anything scores them.
Preview the leads
Click Preview Leads to see a handful of real people matching your criteria before you commit. This is the step that catches a filter doing something you did not intend.
Set the schedule
Choose the Active Days — weekdays are on by default — and the Active Hours, defaulting to 09:00 to 17:00 in your own timezone. Set a Start Date, and an End Condition: run indefinitely, stop on a date, or stop after a number of leads.
Set the qualification standard
Select the Target Audiences this stream aims at — at least one is required. Optionally attach the Relevant Offerings it is selling; leave it empty and all of them are considered.
Then set the Qualification Threshold, from 20 to 90, defaulting to 60. Leads scoring below it are quarantined rather than contacted.
Decide who owns the leads
Default Lead Owner receives every lead unless you also pick a Team Pool, in which case leads are distributed randomly among the members you select.
Choose how the first touch is sent
Pick the Communicator whose identity and tone the first-touch email is sent as. Optionally Enrol in Sequence so follow-ups continue automatically after the first email. Attach Mandates to give the composer context about your business and how you talk about it.
Write the targeting objective
Describe who you are looking for and why, in your own words. This is last on the form deliberately — the objective is written against every choice above it. Type @ to reference audience segments, offerings, testimonials and other brand assets.
Let Zyntro Suggest drafts it from your brand, your offerings and the choices you have just made. That draft costs $1.50 each time you use it.
Save as a draft or activate
Save as Draft keeps the configuration without acquiring anything. Create & Activate starts the stream on its next scheduled window.
Result
The stream appears in My Streams. Once active, it acquires up to your daily volume on each scheduled day, scores every lead, pushes the ones that clear your threshold into your CRM with a first-touch email, and holds the rest in its Quarantined tab for you to review.
Important: Three things will stop a save: no Stream Name, no Target Audience selected, and — on a feeder only — no Targeting Objective. The field in question is outlined and scrolled into view.
Tip: A new stream is worth watching for its first day rather than its first week. Open it the next morning and read the Quarantined tab: if the leads there are being marked down on role or industry fit, the search criteria are wrong and every further day is spending money on the wrong people.
