Choose What Happens After a Meeting

Four switches, and the order worth doing them in.

Once a meeting has been transcribed and read, Zyntro can do four things with the result. They run independently — switching one on has no bearing on the others.

The order below is not arbitrary. Two of the four depend on something outside this screen, and switching those on first means discovering the dependency rather than wondering later why nothing happened.

Steps

Start with the debrief, which is already on

Email me a meeting debrief is on by default and needs nothing set up — it goes out through Zyntro's own sending, so it essentially always arrives.

Have a few real meetings and read the debriefs before changing anything else. They tell you what the intelligence is actually like on your conversations, which is the information you need to decide about the other three.

Turn it off only if you genuinely do not want it. It is the cheapest thing on the screen and the only one with no dependency.

Switch on the contact update next

Update the contact record from what was said is the one with the most compounding value and no outward-facing risk. Nothing is sent to anybody; the results are written onto your own CRM.

What it writes: a note carrying the meeting's summary, a profile built from what the person said about their situation, and specific details where Zyntro was confident enough to record them. Across a few conversations this turns a contact record into something worth reading before a call.

It needs the meeting to have a contact attached. A meeting with typed-in names has nothing to write to.

If you switch on only one thing from this screen, make it this one. It is the difference between meeting intelligence being a convenience and it being an asset.

Then the follow-up

Work out the follow-up turns the recommendation into a dated reminder addressed to you, linked to the meeting and filed against the contact. One per meeting.

The recommendation itself appears on the meeting screen and in your debrief whether or not this is on — so what you are switching on is the reminder, not the thinking.

Zyntro does not contact the person. It tells you what it thinks the next step is and when; the move stays yours.

Leave the attendee summary until last, and test it

Send the attendees a summary is the only one of the four that sends something to someone outside your business, and it is the only one that can fail silently.

It goes from your own verified sending domain, as you, with your signature. If that domain is not set up, Zyntro will not send a message pretending to be you — it skips it. Nothing warns you.

So before switching it on: read a couple of real Summary for Attendee texts on your processed meetings to see what would have gone out, then check your sending domain is verified, then switch it on and watch the next meeting.

Read the Summary for Attendee on three real meetings before you switch this on. It is written as you, to your client, and it will go without your reviewing it each time.

Save, and check the roster above

The settings apply from the moment you save, to meetings processed after that point. They do not reach back — a meeting already processed is not re-run.

While you are on the screen, look at the Google Meet connection roster underneath the first card. Four switches set correctly achieve nothing if no meetings are being recorded, and a connection marked Needs renewing is the usual reason.

Result

Your processed meetings now do what you chose. On a typical setup: your debrief arrives by email, the contact's record gains a note and a sharper profile, and a follow-up reminder is waiting for you with a date on it.

Each action reports independently, so one of them failing does not stop the others. A meeting where the attendee summary was skipped because somebody had opted out still writes to the CRM and still emails you.

What each one needs

Action Default Depends on
Email me a meeting debrief On Nothing. Sent through Zyntro's own sending.
Update the contact record Off A contact attached to the meeting.
Work out the follow-up Off Nothing, beyond the meeting being processed.
Send the attendees a summary Off A verified sending domain, and attendees who have not opted out.

Important: Only one of the four is on to begin with. The debrief to you is on; the attendee summary, the contact update and the follow-up are all off.

So a workspace that has never opened this screen is recording its meetings, producing full intelligence, and emailing you about it — while writing nothing to the CRM and sending nothing to anyone else. That is the intended starting point, not a fault. The three that are off are the ones that act on the outside world or on your data, and they are opt-in deliberately.
