The Meeting Settings Screen
Settings → Sales Settings → Meeting Settings.
Everything Zyntro does with your meetings is governed by this one screen. It has two cards and a list.
The first card is the Observer — whether your video meetings get recorded at all. The second is what happens to the transcript afterwards. Underneath the first sits a roster of every Google Meet connection in your organisation, which is there because a connection that needs renewing is the most common reason a recording people expected never arrives.
The settings are per brand. A workspace running more than one brand sets them separately.
The Zyntro Meeting Observer
| Control | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Send the Observer to my meetings | When on, Zyntro sends the Observer into video meetings it creates on a Google Meet link, to record and transcribe them. When off, nothing is recorded and nothing in the second card can happen, because there is no transcript to work from. | On |
| Manage Google Meet connection | A link through to the Google Meet integration, where an account is connected or reconnected. | — |
After the meeting
| Control | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Email me a meeting debrief | The organiser receives a written debrief: what was discussed, what was decided, what was committed to, and what needs their attention first. | On |
| Send the attendees a summary | The people who attended receive a short summary of the meeting and what they agreed to, sent from your own verified sending domain so it reads as a message from you. | Off |
| Update the contact record from what was said | What the contact told you during the call — what they are looking for, their timing, their constraints — is written onto their record. | Off |
| Work out the follow-up | Zyntro decides what the next step should be and when, and raises it as a dated reminder for you. It does not message the contact. | Off |
Important: Only one of the four is on to begin with. The debrief to you is on; the attendee summary, the contact update and the follow-up are all off.
So a workspace that has never opened this screen is recording its meetings, producing full intelligence, and emailing you about it — while writing nothing to the CRM and sending nothing to anyone else. That is the intended starting point, not a fault. The three that are off are the ones that act on the outside world or on your data, and they are opt-in deliberately.
Info: With the Observer off, the second card is dimmed. The four actions underneath all act on a transcript, so with no recording there is nothing for them to do. Their settings are kept rather than reset — and they still apply to meetings you record yourself on your phone, which is why they stay readable rather than being hidden.
The Google Meet connection roster
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| A warning that nobody has connected | No Google Meet account is connected anywhere in the organisation, so Zyntro cannot create Google Meet links and the Observer has no meeting to join. The switch above being on changes nothing until this is fixed. |
| Connected, with a renewal date | Working. The date is when the connection needs renewing by. |
| Needs renewing | The connection is close to lapsing or has lapsed. Until it is reconnected, Zyntro cannot create Google Meet links for that member. Reconnect is beside it. |
| A member's name and their account | Whose connection it is. Connections are per member — each person who runs meetings connects their own. |
Tip: This roster is the most useful thing on the screen. It is the only place that shows every Google Meet connection in the organisation at once, which means it is the only way to notice that a colleague's connection has lapsed before it costs somebody a recording. Worth a glance once a week.
